    Stuck orders

    Hi guys, any ideas on getting rid of these stuck orders on sim which screws up the chart? (Please see attached chart). I have tried to reset the simulator but left the "delete the history" box so left it unchecked but the orders are still there. I also tried a new chart and still there.

    I have 1 year worth of sim history that I need to keep so do not want to delete the history.

    Anyway any ideas on what to do from here would be appreciated? I also tried database repair...

      Stuck Orders

      Hi Kyle here is a pic. It is stuck on "initialize" on 7/13....I have been adjusting the chart ever since but now have had enough

        Hi DJ,

        Thanks for getting back to me on that.

        What I'd try is this:
        Shut down NinjaTrader and set your PC's date back to 7/13. After making that change, restart NinjaTrader.

        Next, reconnect and see if it's possible to cancel the order.

          Stuck Orders

          Thanks Kyle, I tried that trick but Ninjatrader crashed when I tried to connect to the broker. Any other ideas on this one? It's an odd duck and a little annoying. I was wondering if it is in the database somewhere and I can go in and delete it.

            Hello DJ,

            Can you please connect to the Simulated Data Feed instead of your broker and check if this will allow you to cancel the order.

            If not, you can remove the orders by resetting the sim101 account and checking the 'Clear history' box, however it will clear all trade history of the sim101 account.

              Cancel orders

              Hi Jason, unfortunately that didn't work either, here is a picture with the 13 July stuck orders which will not delete.

              I have 1 year worth of history in the sim and in no way want to delete it. I see this issue/bug has come up before many times. Has anyone else managed to solve it do you know?

                Hi DJ,

                Thanks for giving that a try as well.

                Unfortunately, I know of no other things to try to remove these orders - I feel that the only way you'll be able to remove these orders is to reset the simulation account and it's history. I understand that's not an ideal solution for you, but sometimes it's the only option.
