Turn OFF AutoScale in Volume Indicator

I have been searching the forums, but can't find a way to Turn OFF the AutoScale in the Volume Indicator panel (my specific interest right now).

If there is a way, I would appreciate knowing it. It appears Grey(ed out) in the properties area, and no selection criteria is available.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks.

    Hi Snoopy,

Autoscale is non-configurable if there is only one indicator applied to the panel. To turn off autoscale on Vol, you must have another indicator there, and the property will open up.

Thanks Ryan M, now I can turn off autoscale.

Is there any way to control the range that will plot?

I would like to keep the low values, and just let the spikes go off the panel.

I have tried to just "grab" a value in the scale and drag it, but it seems to centre (or zoom) on the value, instead of shift the value up or down as I would like.

Yes, you can manually set the scale. Right Click in the vertical Axis > Properties > Change Range to Fixed. Can then set Maximum and Minimum values for the scale.

              Hello Columbcille,

              Thanks for your post.

When an indicator is the only one applied to a panel Auto Scale is going to be set to true.
You can still put it into a fixed position/scale as you would like just as you would with price bars.
Below I have provided a link to the How to change the vertical scale and range of a chart section of our help guide.
