Market replay doesn't move

    Market replay doesn't move

    The dom stays still with no price showing and the tick counters dont work but the replay bar shows that the time is moving. Charts load up from set dates with tick counter stuck at 0, but they just dont move any idea how to fix this?

    Hi Hungryman,

    Thanks for posting.

    What I'd recommend is that you download a new copy of the day/instrument you're replaying via the File > Utilities > Download Replay Data menu. If that doesn't do the trick, please let me know.

      When I download it only allows me to select one date does that mean it will download everything up until that one date or does it mean that it will start downloading from that one date till current?>

        Now that I have done the download and selected aug 7th 2011 the tick counter shows the full value of the bar but I get no bars printed on the chart or any data for that matter.
        Before if I move the replay slider to pick a date and time the charts would at least say "loading data" and load now theres nothing but max ticks remaining on the counter.

        Infact now I dont even get chart data from a live connection. I need this fixed asap plz.

          Hi,

          Taking a step back, which instrument's data are you attempting to replay and in which interval? I'll also need to know which date you're working with here.

            Primarly ES and 6E. I dont care about replay anymore I need my live data back right away I can't even open a new chart all I get are blanks! Reloading historical data doesn't work either! Is there a number I can call for support?!

              Please send a note to Support [AT] NinjaTrader [DOT] com.

              In the message, please include:

              1.) A link to this forum thread.

              2.) A copy of today's trace file:
              You will find this file in the Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Trace folder.
              Today's trace file would be named 'trace.20110808.txt'.

              3.) The name of your data provider.

              4.) A copy of the workspace which holds your charts (so I can take a look at your exact settings).
              You will find the workspace in the Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Workspaces folder.

                    I'm trying to get the last 2 months on the ES at 610 tick chart interval please walk me thru this. I went to the historical data manager and downloaded from july 1st till current and have selected tick value.
