Chart doesn't show anything
I am connected through interactive brokers and when i try to load a chart for any stock it is blank. It shows the ticker at the top but nothing for any time frame. I checked to see if it would load the t/s and it was scrolling the prints correctly. Is there anything i'm doing wrong?Tags: None

Thank you for your post.
Please answer the following questions so I may further assist:- What version of NinjaTrader do you currently have installed which can be found under Help-->About.
- What version of TWS do you have installed?
- Are you connected to a Live IB account or a Demo account?
- Are you showing as connected in the lower left hand corner of the Control Center?
- Are there any error messages in the Log tab of the Control Center?
- What time interval chart are you attempting to open?
- When you right mouse click within your chart are you able to Reload historical data or is the option grayed out?

current version is 64-bit 7.0.1000.6
tws version build 917.8
not sure what you mean by live ib or demo but i have an account that i trade through @ ib
it is showing connected on the bottom corner if ninjatrader
not sure where the control center is to find the log
i tried to open it for all different time intervals
when i reload the data on all timeframes it says loading data in the top left hand corner for a few seconds then it is still a blank screen

Do you see an "F" in the upper right hand corner of your chart window? If so please left mouse click on the "F" to bring your chart back to Auto Scale.
If the issue persists right mouse click within your chart-->Data Series-->Session Template-->Set to "Default 24/7"--> Click Ok.Christopher J.NinjaTrader Customer Service

i do not see an F in the upper right hand side, here is a pic of how it looks like.
when i go into data series i see nothing for session template at all

looks like its not the connection but a bug in the software, i just connected to free kinetick and tried a few different symbols and came up with the same problem

Please see my response to the email you sent to support.
What instruments do you have selected in the charts and for the strategies?
Do you receive real-time data if you select these instruments in the Control Center-->Orders-tab or SuperDOM?
Unfortunately, there is a known issue in NinjaTrader 7.0.1000.6 which causes daily data not to display data using most session templates. It is solved by using the 'Default 24/7' session template. It does not apply to minute and tick data.
The issue will be fixed in the next version (7.0.1000.7) and does not occur in version 7.0.1000.5 either which is still available on our download page.
