    Looking for SPTSX

    Hi,

I went into instrument manager and created a TSX which i suppose is the toronto stock exchange.
But the numbers dont fit. Im looking for the S&PTSX http://www.google.ca/finance?q=TSE:OSPTX

Is there an SPTSX in the edit of IM?

    Hi frankduc,

    Thanks for your post.

Could you please provide me with an image of your current settings for this instrument?

Also, could you provide me with an example of the price you're currently seeing?

      Here's the picture.

      In MISC i put C.HND

I saw that in another case on the forum http://www.ninjatrader.com/support/f...&highlight=tsx

As you can see the numbers are quite different from here and the scale too: http://www.google.ca/finance?q=TSE:OSPTX

        Hi Frank,

Thanks for getting back to me.

I just want to double check with you here before moving forward. It looks like you're charting a totally separate symbol here than what you've linked to on the Google page.

Just to clarify you're looking for data for the ETF or the index here?

I want to have the same chart on that webpage http://www.google.ca/finance?q=TSE:OSPTX

I thought that was the wrong symbol but what is the right one for the SPTSX?
          Whats an ETF?

            Hi Frank,

An ETF is an exchange traded fund like the one you provided an image of settings for.

That you're looking at another instrument entirely explains why the chart would be off. Please use the settings for OSPTX which are shown in the attached image.

In the Misc tab, next to Google, enter: OSPTX

Still give me the same chart, its not the index i see on google.

I receive an error message telling:

Error on loading chart data for OSPTX Default: Unable to load hist data: unknown instrument.

Is it possible that Kinetick dont support that instrument? Would it work with a google connection, does a google connection exist?

                Hi Frank,

Something must have gone wrong - I'm seeing exactly that chart here.

Please send a note to Support [AT] NinjaTrader [DOT] com with a link to this forum thread and I'll provide you with further instructions.
