Why my cursor changes to a hand?

I would like to understand why my cursor will change from a cross hair to a hand inadvertently. What triggers this? Can I avoid the hand from ever appearing?

Is Chart Trader enabled on your charts? Are you making a left click of any kind in the chart when this does occur?

Yes I am using Chart Trader.

And I always left click to move targets/stops.....

Thanks for clarifying - that explains it then.

When the hand appears, this indicates that you're editing the order. Unfortunately, there is no way to disable that change currently, but I will forward the suggestion on to development for further consideration.

This is indeed very annoying for Chart Traders and it can get in the way of trades.

Pedro,

Are you saying that after editing the order, that the cursor stays as a hand?

When you move the cursor around in this state, does it move the chart as well or does it stay static? Or does everything operate as normal except that the cursor is now hand?

Can you specify exactly what steps are taken directly before you experience issues? Can you reproduce?

Does this only occur on one chart or on all charts?

Are you using the regular cross hair or the global crosshair?
