    FIB Extension and RETRACEMENT

    Hello,

Is there any way that I can change the FIB extension and retracement levels in the charting to more than 100%? Also, can I add another number to it, like 55% or something like that?

    Thank you,
    David Andrews

    Hello bubbadirect,

    Thank you for your post.

This is certainly possible within NinjaTrader. To get to the menu that will allow you to do this, please follow these steps:
    • Draw your Fibonacci Extension or Retracement
    • Right mouse click it and select 'Properties'
    • Add/remove or change any percentage levels you wish
    • Click 'OK'

Within that properties menu, you can change already displayed levels, change line colors, and even add more levels of any level that you desire.

You can even save a template of settings you have configured so that you can apply them to any Fibonacci drawing tool quickly after drawing it. You can see how to do this by watching this brief demonstration from our Video Library:

    http://www.ninjatrader.com/support/m...-Templates.htm

Please let me know if I can provide any further assistance.

        Hello nicosxm,

Can you please double click the anchor line of the Fibonacci extension to open its Properties menu. Subsequently add the percentage lines using the values you like. Subsequently you can save a template of the settings. More information can be found at the link below under 'Understanding Fibonacci drawing object templates'.

Unfortunately you can only add three more percentage lines besides the ones that are already setup.

Are you saying these added lines are not plotted after the 100% line? It works as expected on my end when I test it, see screenshot.

Thanks for your replay Jason, the thing is they should not be plotting after/below the 100% level but above the 0% level

I am not sure if I follow. Can you please post a screenshot of the Fibonacci Retracement on your end.

The Fibonacci Retracement functions as expected as per your screenshot. I am not sure why think these levels should be below the 0% line. 118% is higher than 100%, so it plots above the 100% line. Unfortunately this is how our Fibonacci Retracements works.

                      Hi nicosxm,

put a minus - sign in front of whatever number you want.
                      hope this helps
