Cannot load data from IB (again)

    Hi,

Again the same problem. I just subscribed for italian stocks (BVME) but I cannot load data from IB. I can open charts on TWS at real time but not on NT. BVME is on tha list of stock exchanges.

I receive no error messages, just a blank chart. I think all the settings are correct. I attach screenshots.

    guillembm,

Is IB the only provider you connect to? From one of your screen shots, it looks like you have eSignal connected as primary - is this true?

If so, can you please try disconnected from eSignal and connect only to IB. Can you load a chart in this setup?

        Hi guillembm,,

Unfortunatley, my testing account isn't authorized so I cannot confirm but your settings do look to be correct to me.

I see that you have both Default and BVME enabled for exchanges - have you tried both?

Can you tell me which build of TWS you use? (Help > About Trader Workstation)

When you say "have you tried both?" what do you mean?

I have to add always the Default exchange from the list of exchanges. If not I cannot set the symbol.

            guillembm,

What Kyle meant was leaving the Default and BVME exchanges checked from the instrument editor, but when adding the instrument to your default instrument, specify the Default exchange or specify the BVME exchange.

            • Select the default instrument list via the "Instrument lists" drop down list in the upper left hand corner
            • Select the exchange as this will route orders to your broker smart routing system (First select Default, then try BVME
            • Press the "<" button to add the instrument to the list

You are now complete and can press the "OK" button.

When selected the instrument from the chart, you will see the UCG symbol with either the Default exchange or the BVME exchange specified

I suppose you mean this (see screenshots). The result is the same opening the chart for TIT from the BVME or the Default list.

I correctly receive data from IB. I'm lost...

                guillembm,

Can you please send an email to support[at]ninjatrader[dot]com and include a phone number plus your timezone and a date/time you would be available.

I'd like to log into your PC to see if we can set this up from there. Once I receive your email I will respond with instructions to get me logged in.

                Thanks in advanced.
