Second Data Source for Daily Chart Data ONLY?

I would like to know if it is possible to have Kinetick (EOD) as second data feed and ONLY provide me the Daily Data information (for calculating pivots, Prior Day OHLC).

I still want my historical intraday data from the first data feed.

If this is not available, can you please consider it for future release? The reason is that my first data feed (zenfire) provides wrong prior Day OHLC for calculating pivots.

Thank you for your post.

Yes you may get historical Daily data from Kinetick and real time and historical Tick and Minute data from Zen-Fire.

To achieve this you will want to connect to the Kinetick End of Day (Free) connection first within NinjaTrader and Zen-Fire second.

The problem that I have when I connect to Kinetick first is that when I click Reload Historical Chart Data on the Intraday Chart, I get blank chart data as it does not load information from Zenfire intraday historical data....

Am I doing something wrong?

With this procedure it should pull all historical Tick and Minute data from Zen-Fire and only Daily data from Kinetick.

Can you tell me what version of NinjaTrader you have installed which can be found under Help-->About.

Also what instrument do you have loaded and what interval?

Error when entering orders...

Christopher,

Now that I changed the setting for Kinetick (EOD) first and then secondly to Zenfire, i get the following error when entering an order:

Message: "Kinetick - End Of Day (Free), Order not accepted since market data is not supported by the connectivity provider. affected Order: Buy 1 Stop @ 5629"

Can you explain why this is happening? Am I doing something wrong?

If you are submitting orders to the Sim101 account NinjaTrader will only recognize the first connection established. The Kinetick EOD connection will supply real time data therefore to continue trading in simulation you will be required to connect to Zen-Fire first.
