I prefer to start with multiple positions, using a fairly simple ATM Strategy for each trade, and then manually manage my stop, breakeven, and trail a final position, using either the DOM or Chart Trader.
I have read in this forum that ..."when applying an ATM strategy to an Account Group the ATM strategy will be applied to each component account but any manual modifications thereafter will need to made to each individual account."
SO...if I use an ATM strategy when entering a trade, using an Account Group of, let's say, 2 accounts, what is the best way to manage the trade in each account? Can I, for example, use two identical charts with Chart Trader, one assigned to the group, and one assigned to the secondary account? Or assign a DOM to the Account group and then use 2 charts with Chart Trader assigned individually to the groups? 3 DOMs? 3 charts?....etc etc...??
Do you have any suggestions? Are there any limitations I should be aware of? How are others doing this? I assume there must be some way to make this work efficiently otherwise why even bother to have an Account Group feature? I can't think of very many trades I have made that haven't required some management while open.
Your feedback appreciated, thanks in advance.
