ES dec '11 charts off by a few ticks

i just noticed that my dec '11 15min chart of the ES is off by a couple of ticks at many peaks.

it looks like this may be due to the fact that ninjatrader uses my computer clock for the time which is about 15 seconds faster than Interactive Brokers' market time.

is this why the peaks are off by a few ticks and is there any way to correct this?

Hello rc5781,

Please sync your PC clock to the time.nist.gov server. You can sync your PC clock by double clicking on the clock in the lower right corner of your desktop. Once you have done that, click on Internet Time tab and then click Update. Your PC clock should now be updated.

Once that is complete please reload your historical data. To reload your historical data please right click in the background of your chart and select 'Reload All Historical Data'.

hi patrick, i did those steps but the ticks still don't match up. however, the nist time is closer to IB time so this prevents me from having to adjust my pc clock over and over again.

were you suggesting that IB time is based on nist time?

Hello,

If you right click on the chart and select reload historical data are the highs and lows still lightly off? If so what are you comparing too? Please compare it to a similar chart inside of TWS. Does it match as you should find that it does match.
