    Urgent! Login Failed! (Zen-Fire)

    Hi,
    I'm getting a Login failed message as attached.
    It has been working fine for last 2 days since I switched to Zen-Fire from CQG.
    The connection to Market Replay and Kinetik are working fine.
    I always turns off my firewalls but even I forgot first time before the connection CQG worked OK at second trial. However since my first mistake Zen-Fire connection couldn't be established.
    I tried setting up new connection with username & pswd.
    I need the connection before 6PM on Sunday.

    I am getting the same problem and the same message. Is there maintenance going on with the Zenfire servers?

      Hello wahn2067,

      Thank you for your post.

      I too am unable to connect to Zen-Fire at this time.

      Zen-Fire servers are normally taken down for weekend maintenance and it could be that they have not yet finished.

        electronic markets opened and still not able to connect .... anyone else having the same problem ?

            I didn't try Zen Fire yet but I'm back on CQG for Sim. I couldn't connect ZF since Friday but I thought it was only me having a trouble. If you wan to trade in Sim mode with CQG, try this link http://ampfutures.com/thien.php . It only takes a few minutres to get username & pswd for CQG demo with AMP. I'm not recommending AMP but suggesting to try CQG. I'm with Mirus/Zen-Fire.

                still not working

                something must happened after 5pm ... seems like issue with the authentication once you get past that its probably fine after thatif you dont need to authenticate again.

                they should really put some server/connection/maintenance status page

                  I just tried again but failed login as before. Someone from ZenFire should fix this otherwise lot of people in sim with ZF will change to CQG and stay with CQG. I had same problems few times prior to joining AMP/CQG. CQG never gave me this kind of non-sence issues in connection-wise. Anyway nobody is perfect but Zen-Fire should be listening to their customers.

                    If you have not yet, could you please try restarting your PC or any network hardware such as modems or routers.

                      I too can not connect to zenfire for over 12 hours, got a new login and password, uninstalled ninja and reinstalled, rebooted computer and modem... still get the same message window as user in first post.

                        Can you please try the following.
                        • Please go to the Tools menu--> select Account Connections--> highlight the connection--> click Remove
                        • Tools -> Options -> Data -> Repair Database
                        • Restart NinjaTrader
                        • Please go to the Tools menu--> select Account Connections and recreate the account connection.

                          Cameron I got a CQG connection working, should I still try what you suggested of does getting another connection working invalidate it ?

                            Perform the steps listed in post #12 for your Zen-Fire connection only.

                            This does not effect your CQG connection.

                              done steps as described

                              still not working.

                              I think its something on zenfire side since it was working perfectly on friday.

                              Computer was shut down for the weekend and no changes has been made on that pc during the weekend.
