    Hello Rene,

Can you please tell me to what data feed you connect in NinjaTrader.

Do you see the big difference between the bid and ask price if you select the instrument in the Control Center-->Orders-tab as well?

Please go to Control Center-->Tools-->Options-->Data-tab and tell me what setting is used for 'Quote currencies (FX) in'.

I use CQG... The bid and ask price there is ok, only 1-3 pips... My settings are shown in full PIP under quote currencies.

      Whats wrong?

      Thanks.

Can you please select a different instrument in the SuperDOM and subsequently select the instrument that experiences the issue again. Does it now display proper prices?

Does the instrument display correct prices if you create a new SuperDOM via Control Center-->File-->New?

Could you perhaps send me a screenshot that shows the incorrect prices.

To send a screenshot press Alt + PRINT SCREEN to take a screen shot of the selected window. Then go to Start--> Accessories--> Paint, and press CRTL + V to paste the image. Lastly, save as a jpeg file and send the file as an attachment.

Can you please clarify what instrument you have loaded in the SuperDOM.

Am I correct this is a custom created instrument? Is it setup as a Futures or Currency instrument? Could you perhaps send me screenshots of the Instrument Editor window for this instrument. Please go to Control Center-->Tools-->Instrument Manager, highlight the instrument and click Edit. Send me screenshots of both the Definition and Misc tabs.

To send a screenshot press Alt + PRINT SCREEN to take a screen shot of the selected window. Then go to Start--> Accessories--> Paint, and press CRTL + V to paste the image. Lastly, save as a jpeg file and send the file as an attachment.

Please note that only futures trading is supported with CQG/NinjaTrader.

Do the position price and the ask price justify the profit of 53 pips? I only see a last traded price reflected in the SuperDOM, no bid or ask. You can check the ask price in the Control Center-->Orders-tab.

If i go into the market ( MARKET ORDER ) i see this high difference sometimes.... Ive tested now and then it was 2 pips, then 5 pips... Thats not normal?

In the pictures you can see my currencies. i only trade currencies... This example was with EUR/CHF - also 6S or M6S.

Maybe its a Problem with this demo Acc Sim101?

              Regards

                Hello Rene,

Unfortunately we do not support forex/currency trading with CQG. I see you are usng some workaround by creating a currency instrument as a futures instrument. Who provided you instructions to create such an instrument?

I see that the spread is quite far apart for these custom created instruments.

Did the position and ask price justify the 53 pips of profit?

The mini-sized currency futures have bad liquidity, thus it's true, very wide spreads.
