    Adding separate exit strategy

I use several strategies from a developer so the .cs files aren't exposed for modification.
I can backtest the strategies. I would like to use those results to create an arbitrary profit target that, when reached, closes the trade.
If there is a way to do this, I assume that it would disable his strategy. Although I would prefer not to, if I could do it with that one proviso, I would be willing to manually re-enable the strategy.
    Is this possible to do?

    Hi sgordet,

Strategies are completely independent. If you can't edit the source code, then you can't make changes like adding exits to it.

What happens to my strategy if I manually place a limit order on my chart once the strategy is trading? Will the strategy be oblivious to my order if it's filled or will it disable. If it's oblivious, do I get a reverse position?

Right, the strategy is oblivious to any activity made manually, or from another strategy. Your account position will reflect activity for orders placed by strategies as well as manual orders.
