    Just started happenning yesterday...
    May of happenned after I checked IB for SW updates.???

    What version of TWS are you using? You can check under TWS -> Help -> About

    With the current version of NinjaTrader, it is critical that you use TWS version 917.

        Hello,

        Please uninstall your existing version via the Windows Control Panel, and then install 917 via the following link:

        http://www.ninjatrader.com/ninjatrader/TWS/tws40_install_917_8.exe

        Once TWS 917 has been installed, please ensure that the configuration in our Connection Guide for TWS has been completed.

        The following link will take you to a page that details the steps required for creating a connection to Interactive Brokers and specific connection configuration information.

            I send you my conversation with Interactive Brokers support regarding incompatibility Ninja Trader 7 with latest release of IB TWS.

            Bug report - NinjaTrader cannot connect to the latest version of TWS
            Hi,
            I use TWS with API client NinjaTrader 7 for trading. Now I have installed TWS + NinjaTrader on my second computer. But I found out that NinjaTrader cannot connect to the latest version of TWS (918.8). New login dialog for TWS appears - see screenshot TWS login.
            The problem occurs on Windows XP as well as Windows 7. I send my settings for TWS and Ninja too – see screenshots.
            After downgrade to TWS 917.9a the connection is OK. TWS 917.5 is OK too.
            I hope your programmers will be able to resolve this bug

            Mr. Kampan,
            Ninja Trader is already aware that they program when installed is NOT compatibly with TWS build 918 and higher. They are working to resolve this issue. Please contact Ninja Trader for details on when they will resolve this issue.
            It seems some customers are able to get around this issue by install NT 6.5 and can then connect to 918. Please note IB has enhanced TWS since Build 918 and higher that merged our title bar and menu bar in one and it seems this is what NT used to authenticate that you are connecting to TWS. Since this enhancement was made, NT is aware that they must enhance there system to prevent issues where there program can not connect to TWS.

              Thanks for this information.

              Our development and support team is aware of the issue with connecting to Build 918. We do not have any ETA at this time on when this build will be supported.
