    Time Zone Question

    Hello,

    I'm a little bit confused:

    I trade ES futures and live in UTC+02 time zone. So, my day hours are mostly before 8:30 Central Time.
    I'd noticed that my intraday data for ES futures was divided between two days (current day and tomorrow for my time zone) before 8:30 CT. But after the exchange is opened today I see only 1 day bar on the chart as it should have been.

    May be I should change session time for ES? Afraid to make it before the proper advice.

    Hello Sergey,

    I would suggest either setting your local PC clock to the exchange time (Central Time) or setting your Session Tempaltes to your local PC clock time zone.

    You can change your Session Template time zone by going to Tools--> Session Manager.

    Please make sure to change these for all session templates you plan on using.

      Hello Matthew and thank you for the reply.

      I'd better change my local PC time to CT in order not to get confused with other instruments, market analyzer etc.

        Problem is not a Time Zone?

        Hello again,

        I've changed my PC clock time zone to CT but the current day's candlestick is still divided into 2 candles. The last one is Sept.22 (tomorrow).

        The ES Session Template is "Use instrument settings".

        Reloaded historical data -- result the same.

        What shall I do?

            Hello,

            Did not help! Changed the Session Template. Still current day is divided. But now the 2-nd candle is today, not tomorrow. It started from the moment historical data was reloaded.

            Please, find the daily screen save attached.

              JustJoker,

              I'm not sure I follow, what do you mean by the current day is divided? Do you mean you have two bars that report for today?

              Can you please try restarting NinjaTrader and reconnecting.
