No connection

Hi,

I didn't use NinjaTrader for a few months, till I decided to begin again with stocks last week. I wanted to connect with Kinetick, which was fully alright, but when I wanted it to show a graph of a stock or index, theres just an empty window with two lines in front of me.
Any thoughts how to solve this problem?

Which instrument are you charting? In which interval?

Is the connection linked to a full account or the free EOD service?

I tried to search for a AAPL and DAXX index. I tried intervalls between 5mins and 1d. I just use a free license, connected to a Zen-Fire (not active now). and Kinetick.

I'm still a bit unclear as to what type of Kinetick account you're using. Do you connect to the Free feed or have a paid subscription?

Hi sentrix,

With the free KInetick connection, only daily data should be available. That said, there was a recent bug which would prevent this data from being displayed. Can you tell me which build of NinjaTrader you use? To check, click Help > About.

Hi sentrix,

With the 7.0.1000.7 release and the free Kinetick EOD connection, it should be possible to chart either of the instruments you mentioned in a daily interval. Please try a new Daily chart of AAPL. Does data load? If not, do you receive an error?

I did try it, but its no use. I can load the graph, but no info in there(no candles, data). I dont receive any error message.

Please send a note to Support [AT] NinjaTrader [DOT] com with 'ATTN: Kyle' in the subject line.

In the message, include a link to this forum thread and a copy of today's trace file.
You will find the trace file in the Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Trace folder.
The file I need would be named 'trace.20110926.txt'.
