Connection between NT7 & eSignal OnDemand

    Connection between NT7 & eSignal OnDemand

    I'm a user of eSignal OnDemand, I'm trying to connect with them from Ninjatrader. With the detailed instructions available here, it seems is all ok and all the connections appears in green, but, seems it is not retrieving nothing from esignal.

    With NT connected (and looking inside control center) it moves across de months but is not "saving" anything. From eSignal "native software" the historical appears correctly.

    Any advice? Thanks.

    Thanks for writing in.

    Unfortunately, eSignal On Demand accounts are not supported within NinjaTrader at this time. A standard account would be needed in order to connect and load data normally.

      But eSignal says NT is supported (with eSignal OnDemand too). I think someone is confusing people to get additional customers ...

            hi, any luck with this? I was told by ... ryan.langdon [ AT ] interactivedata [DOT] com,

            that eSignal had allowed esOD to work with 3rd party apps, would appreciate your clarification on whether its possible to use eSignalOD normal and extended intraday data with NT7

              Hi, I was also just told today that esignal on demand previously had restrictions with 3rd party apps, but that restriction was removed in April.

                        Esignal ondemand data connectivty

                        Currently using Esignal Ondemand with Amibroker, I am planning to switch over to NT, hope you support Esignal Ondemand soon..!

                            Hi NinjaTrader team,
                            Could you please comment the status of the implementation of esignals datafeed:
                            1) delayed data with_esignal on demand/esignal classic for NT7/NT8.
                            2) streaming data with esignal signature with CME waiver fee (http://ninjatrader.com/support/forum...t=36069&page=2).

                            1) in conjuction with IB 1) would be one of the most cost efficient solutions for a real time data feed (no real time tick data due to constraints of IB data but nonetheless real time)
                            2) Just to consider the difference: esignal futures real time tick data with CME waiver fee <200 USD vs. the required package now for almost 400 USD due to technical issues within NT

                              Currently data on the eSignal waiver program is not supported.

                              We have not specifically tested On Demand accounts within NinjaTrader 8 at this stage in beta but our development team anticipates to support them.

                              If you have an On Demand account and would like for us to conduct testing on our end please send an email to [email protected] with Attn: Chris Jameson in the Subject and in the message please include a link to this thread along with your eSignal login credentials.
