    Data Gap

    Hello

    Everything was running fine today until I had to restart my computer. Since then I have a one hour gap in my 10 min charts. The current data is coming through, but six 10 min bars are missing. I have the latest Ninja version installed and use Zen Fire.

    I tried a DB Reset and DB Repair, but without success.

    If you right click and select reload historical data on the chart does this resolve the issue?

    If not who is your connection technology?

    What instrument is this occurring on?

    Specifically what time area is missing?

      Thanks for your reply.
      I tried to reload historical data, but it doesn't change anything.
      I'm on Zen Fire and it occurs on all my charts ( 6E 12-11, GC 12-11, CL 11-11, etc)
      The current candle is updating, but the one before is from one hour ago, raher than from 10 minutes ago (10 min candle chart)

        If you create a brand new chart with no indicators is it the same issue?

        Also what expiry?

          Yes, it's the same with a brand new chart without indicators.
          Expiry is Dec 2011.

            Hello,

            That should cover all our bases then. I will need to compare your chart with what I get on my side at this point.

            Can you please post a screenshot of the chart.

            To send a screenshot press Alt + PRINT SCREEN to take a screen shot of the selected window. Then go to Start--> Accessories--> Paint, and press CRTL + V to paste the image. Lastly, save as a jpeg file and send the file as an attachment.

              Hello Brett

              Here you go. It's a 10 Min chart of EURUSD (6E) on a Default 24/7 Template.
              Even if I hit "Reload All Historical Data", there's still a one hour gap as shown.

                Hello laocoon,

                I experience the same gaps on my end.

                Unfortunately the historical data server did not record historical data yesterday from market open up til 8:00 PM Eastern Time, so there is no historical data present to load.

                    Could you please tell what exact hour of historical data you are missing. I assume your PC clock is set to Central European Time.

                    The data gap I referred in my previous post will be from midnight to 2:00 AM today (as per CET). It is as expected that you do not load data for these times.

                      Yes, I'm on CET. I just checked and the gaps from last Friday have indeed disappeared.
