Super DOM

Why doesn't the price move with the market on the Super DOM? The price is not centered and the ladder doesn't move. Thanks.

Hello JerryA,

Can you please clarify if you are using the Static or the Dynamic SuperDOM?

Additionally, please right click on the SuperDOM--> ensure you have 'auto center' checked.

There are two SuperDOMs that are available and they appear and respond to market change will depend on the one you are using.

I only see one SuperDOM available. Where is the other one? The ladder on my SuperDOM does not move.

What does it say when you go to File--> New

Does it say Static or Dynamic SuperDOM?

There is both a static and SuperDOM, but only one SuperDOM

Please close out of the SuperDOM you currently have open.

Next, please click on the File--> New--> select "Dynamic SuperDOM".

When using the Dynamic SuperDOM, the price ladder will move up and down in response to change in market price.

When using the Static SuperDOM, the price ladder will not move (it is static).

I have selected DynamicSuperDOM - and the price does not change and the price is not centered.

Can you please specify what instrument you have selected in the Dynamic SuperDOM?

TF Russell. Doesn't work on the ES or CL either.

Can you please reset your instruments and then restart NinjaTrader.

To reset your instruments please: go to the Tools menu, select the Options menu item, select the Data tab, and then click on 'Reset Instruments'.


Next, please make sure you are using the TF 12-11, the ES 12-11 or the CL 11-11. If this is using a previous month such as the TF 09-11, you will need to roll it over.


Please follow the instructions below to rollover the expiration date of a futures contracts.

• From within the NinjaTrader Control Center window select the menu Tools > Instrument Manager
• Highlight the contract you wish to rollover in the left side of the Instrument Manager window
• Press the ">" button (the instrument will disappear from the list)
• Press the "<" button and the instrument should re-appear with the front month expiration date
