Going live with strategies

Hi,

So i have developed a strategy i want to try on a demo account. I have bought a lease version of ninja and set up an account with MB. I have followed all the steps and i am connected to MB. Then i go to strategies and put in what i want and enable but nothing happens. I have also put a strategy that simple says if price is above 10 buy to make see if anything happens and again nothing. Is there something else that needs to be enabled or what am i doing wrong?

Also 3 stratgeies are green and 1 is yellow, what does yellow mean?

Hi Freddy, the green ones would be trading immediately, while the yellow one indicates it's waiting for a flat historical strategy position state to start trading : http://www.ninjatrader.com/support/h...egies_tab2.htm (first section here for more info)

If you started them from the strategies they would not be visualized on the charts, so you would not notice their activity this way.

ok, but no trades in position are being made... even though they defintly should be. I have ticked 'ati inteface' is this correct?

ATI does not need to be checked, this would only be needed if you wished to process externally received trading signals submitted for example via the DLL interface, so this is not needed for NinjaScript strategy operation.

Do you see historically executed entries then if you review the generated report?

ok,

when i review the report there are no trades there.

by generated report do you mean right click, strategy performance, historical?

Freddy, would you see trades then with the SampleMACrossOver strategy we ship out with NT?

If yes, then this would mean you would need to look into your code and understand why the conditions for trading are not triggering as you would expect, Print statements and TraceOrders can be helpful here.

when using the samplecross over, the same happens and when i right click and historical there are no trades...
