    Can't get real profit (loss)

    Dear Sirs,

    It may be a silly question, but:

    When I enter the order ((IB Brokers) it looks like it's not a simulation mode. But after a serious profit I found that it did.

    How to get not nervous about that?

    From the file menu, you can check "Global Simulation Mode".

    This this option checked, NinjaTrader will be locked to only using your Simulation account.

    You can always change the way this starts by going to Tools--> Options--> Simulator tab--> check "Always start in Simulation"

      I've unchecked the simulation mode.
      That was the question.

          Hello,

          You will need to ensure you have your live account selected.

          You should see the SuperDOM or ChartTrader window you are using turn 'White' when it is in live mode and this should give you a quick reference to the account you have selected.

            Yes, it turned white. I did check. The Account was real. It was not the first time I lost the profit of that matter.

              To clarify, you are saying you submitting an order to the live account, but the order was actually on your sim101 account?

                The real account was checked. But after a time, I mentioned that the changes were just on sim101

                  Do you have your brokerage connection to connect on startup? The automatic connection can prevent your live broker account from loading first.


                  To check for this, please go to Tools--> Account Connections--> Highlight your live connection and select "Change".


                  From the Account Connection options, please locate the "Connect on startup" option and uncheck this box. Then finish the Wizard.


                  After disabling this option, please set all of your desired order entry windows to your Live account and then restart NinjaTrader. After NinjaTrader restarts, please manually connect to your live broker connection and let me know if you see further issues with this feature

                    OK. I'l try later and tell you. No any setup unfortunately. But the first connection I have when NT starts is Kinetick (I connect to IB manually all the time). Should I change something?

                      Oh, forgot to mention. I usually have IB Trader Workstation 4.0 connected and working when I connect to IB at NT7.

                        Hello,

                        Can you please disable connect on startup from Kinetick and test to see that your live account comes up first.
