Exporting real-time trading signals

Dear all,

I have a client who has all kind of strategies set up in his NinjaTrader and I have a platform which manage trading signals to do all kind of things with those signals. My client is requesting me to hook up with his NinjaTrader in order to receive all the unique trading signals for each strategy on my platform.

Since I'm very new to NinjaTrader and it's capabilities, I don't know what the exporting capabilities are. I hope to find some clues or directions on this forum in order to achieve our common goal.

Things what I'm looking for in order to receive trading signals coming from NinjaTrader:
- SDK (.dll) which I can use to hook on the NinjaTrader
- export to a file/folder
- sending e-mail
-> the small list above is ordered by preference.

Is the above doable?

Hi Joey, welcome to our forums here. the AT interface / DLL is more designed to send signals to NT for execution, same would go for the File interface we have.

You could work with the SendMail() in his strategies or simply write the desired signals to a text file / database to connect this info then to your application.

Thank you for the quick response!
I will take a look at the examples you shared me. If NT can write the trading signals to a database or text file that will do also. It isn't that real-time but I foresee no major time lags.

I'll let you know which road I'll take.
