    Realized currency in chart trader

    Hello,
the Realized Pnl currency in chart trader is displayed in $. But the displayed amount is in €.
For ex. $11.11 and 11.11 is the amount in € (my base currency). The shares i trade are in $. No problem if dollars are used but the amount must be in dollars too then.
    Can i change this ?

    Hello mate41,

    Thanks for your post.

Which data provider are you using with NinjaTrader?
Which instrument are you trading which displays in this manner?

        Hello mate41,

Realized PnL is a value which IB would be sending NinjaTrader directly, but the currency used for this instrument should be U.S. Dollar based.

Just to confirm, you are using TWS build 917.8 correct? If you are not sure, please open TWS then click Help > About Trader Workstation.

          Kyle,
          i use TWS version 917.9a.
The Pnl comes indeed from IB.
But can i change the currency sign from $ to € for example ?

            Hello mate41,

Can you tell me which regional settings your PC is set to use?

The recommended version of TWS for use with NinjaTrader is 917.8 - I'd expect that the difference has no bearing on this issue, but I would recommend that you roll back all the same. TWS 917.8 is available here: http://www.ninjatrader.com/ninjatrad...tall_917_8.exe

              Kyle,
              i use French settings.
If the R Pnl are taken from IB, then the currency sign would be € as it is by IB ?

                Hello mate41,

To be clear, the figure comes from IB - the currency marker is something which NinjaTrader itself puts in to place. That said, it's display is automatic and cannot be changed in any way.

Please send a note to Support [AT] NinjaTrader [DOT] com with 'ATTN: Kyle' in the subject line.

In the message, please include the following:

1.) A link to this thread.

                2.) A copy of today's trace file.
You will find the trace file in the Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Trace folder.
Today's file would be named 'trace.20111028.txt'.

                  Thanks Kyle,
if NT puts the currency marker in place and can't changed then no other action can't be done.
The IB marker is in € and change permanent with the eur-usd.
I'll try installing that other TWS version some later but i doubt if any change could be.
                  Thanks for your time.
