Symbol List

i am brand new to NT.

can someone help me add the Russell 1000 list of stocks to NT so i can then use them in market analyzer?

do i have to add all 1000 stocks manually or can i somehow import the complete list?

You can import a stock symbol list under File-->Utilities-->Import Stock Symbol List. I have provided a link below to our Help Guide that goes over Importing a List of Stock Symbols.

what i meant to say was....where can i get the actual list of stocks...can i download it from somewhere? where can i import it from?

Unfortunately we do not have lists available however other users may have input on where they received their lists or may have on available.

Symbols Download

Hi,

I created scripts to keep my symbols updated so I won't miss new ones and removed ones. I feed NT7 with these.

I'm considering setting up a small web service to download validated and verified symbol lists per security type and exchange. Price will be about 99ct per download.

Is this something what will help you guys? Can be ready in about 1 week. Just let me know if you think thats stupid.
