Having hard time to replay market data

I have reinstalled NT7 at least 3 times in trying to fix the problem with replay data.
It just doesn't start or load data to advance even the chart was populated.
When Replay fails I can't load data to populate the chart from CQG connection as usual. Also I have to go to the Window Task Manager to terminate NT7 application again even after exiting to close application. Very.. very.. annoying.. and time consuming.....

    Hello,

    Thank you for your post.

Please close all your open workspaces by going to the Control Panel-->File-->Workspaces-->Close Workspace

After you have closed all workspaces please create a new workspace by going to the Control Center-->File-->Workspaces-->New Workspace

Within the new workspace please open a new chart with no template or indicators applied and let me know if the issue persists when connected to Market Replay.

It works in new workspace without templates and indicators.
After putting all charts in a new workspaces the market replay works like before.
I never thought it was caused by workspaces.
      Thanks.

          Same problem with market replay

I'm having the same problem as wahn. Once I try to connect to Market Replay my instance of NT7 gets frozen, so I have to restart the program.

I have tried with a new fresh workspace -> same result.

I have no problems to connect to zen-fire (demo account).

          Regards.

            Lalocom,

Can you please navigate to (My) Documents--> NinjaTrader 7--> db--> and locate the Data folder where your replay files are stored.

Please right click on this Data file and select 'properties'. What is the folder size reported to be?

                Hello Lalocom,

                Thanks for checking.

Within the (My) Documents\NinjaTrader 7\db\data folder, you will see each day of data in a folder each separated by YYYYMMDD format. Please try deleting or moving some of these days of replay data you do not need to another location. This should effectively reduce the size of your replay directory.

Once yo have have trimmed down this folder size, please reconnect to Market Replay and let me know if this improves.

I have deleted 16 folders from the original 20. Now the size has reduced to 86,5 MB. Still experiencing the same problem.

Then I have deleted all folders and have reloaded 1 day data for 2 instruments (data folder is now 45,3 MB), but the problem persist.

                  Regards.
