    Connection Problem

    Hi I try to log un to my accont (Mirus Futurs) but get the message:

    "Please check account connection prameters and you internet connection"

    I have done both and it is working OK, so what is the problem?

    Hello Michael,

    Could it be you connect to a demo connection which expired?

    Login Failed. Please Check Your Internet Connection or Account Settings: If the Internet connection is live, the error indicates a typo in the user id or password. The user id and password are case sensitive and white spaces count as characters. Make sure the user id and password are correct and there are no blank spaces at the beginning or end. White spaces are common when using the copy/paste function in Windows. Contact your Broker to verify the correct user id and password are being used.

    So if your internet connection is fine, it indicates the username and password are incorrectly entered or not valid anymore.

    Please contact your broker that provided you the Zen-Fire connection and verify if your Zen-Fire username and password are valid and correct. Subsequently create a new Zen-Fire connection as per the instructions below.


    Make sure you enter the username and password correctly (case sensitive).

    Once you finished recreating the connection, please check if you can get connected successful.

    If the issue remains, please forward me the username and password as you received them from your broker so I can test your connection on my end. You can send them to support[at]ninjatrader[dot]com. Please put 'Attn Jason' in the subject header and reference this forum thread.

      connection Problem

      Hi,

      Thank for your reply.

      The problem that you indicate is not the real problem, since I can connect via mobile internet in the usal way this means I just click on my Mirus accont under connect and I connect to Live trading.

      So what can the problem be?

        Something on your computer must be blocking the Zen-Fire connection.

        Zen-Fire can use the following IP addresses and port numbers to connect.

        ritpz02502.02.rithmic.com (64.202.118.230) - 65000 TCP
        ritpz02503.02.rithmic.com (64.202.118.231) - 64100 TCP
        ritpz02504.02.rithmic.com (64.202.118.236) - 63100 TCP
        ritpz02505.02.rithmic.com (64.202.118.240) - 56000 TCP
        ritpz02506.02.rithmic.com (64.202.118.241) - 55555 TCP
        ritpz02512.02.rithmic.com (64.202.118.207) - 44444 TCP
        ritpz02513.02.rithmic.com (64.202.118.208) - 40000 through to 41099 TCP

        45454 UDP

        Please make sure the IP addresses and ports are not blocked on your computer or the internet connection setup.

          connection problem

          Hi,

          Thanks for your reply.

          Since the connection is working OK an my mobile 3G modem and I have the problem with the "Wired" internet connnection could it be something with my provider or is it local on my PC?

            It could be both. I suggest to contact the ISP for the "wired" internet connection and check if they block any of the IP addresses or ports mentioned in my previous post.

            Please check if firewall and/or anti-virus software on your PC could be blocking the Zen-Fire connection as well. Temporarily disable such software or configure it so NinjaTrader will not be blocked to access the internet.
