Can you explain why Ecbot/Eurex and FX ignore the
'Use stop market for stop loss orders' property?

Hello Mindset,

These exchanges do not accept stop limit orders as stop loss orders, only stop market orders. So even if you have it set to False and you trade an instrument on one of these exchanges, a stop market order is submitted as stop loss.

If you are an IB customer - you can in fact send a stop limit order as IB simulate this at their servers. Perhaps it would be possible to do this in an atm strategy in the next NT release?

Unfortunately we do not have any order servers in place to simulate stop limit orders.

But they do - so I can send them a stop limit order and they will simulate it. Are you saying that can't be done?

I see what you mean. Unfortunately this is currently not possible. I will forward your suggestion to make use of simulated stop limit orders that IB uses to Development to put it on the list of possible future enhancements. Thank you for your feedback.
