    Error on loading chart data

    Hi,

I trade both Danish and US stocks and as such have stocks from both the US and Denmark in my Market Analyzer.

For US stocks, I use the Kinetick EOD data feed.
For Danish stocks, I import MetaStock data.

But ... when I connect to Kinetick in the Control Center of NT, I receive a lot of error messages (one for each of my Danish tickers) because the system cannot load data for my Danish stocks - quite naturally, as Kinetick don't have data for Danish stocks.

How I avoid these error messages?

    Thanks

PS. Screenshot of an error message included.

    Hello rassom,

Can you please go to Control Center-->Tools-->Instrument Manager, highlight one of the Danish stocks in the 'Available master instruments' section and click Edit. Select the Misc-tab and check if you see a symbol map entered next to Kinetick. If so, please remove it so it is blank and click OK. Restart NinjaTrader or remove & add the stock back to your instrument list for the change take effect. Subsequently, check if the error message persists when connected to Kinetick.

      Hi Jason,

Just tried that (removed text for Kinetick symbol under Misc + restarted NT) but still get errors for the symbol I removed. Screenshot attached.

Any other ideas of what I could try?

      Thanks,
      Rasmus

Unfortunately I see no other way than not connect to Kinetick when you have Danish stocks selected in NinjaTrader.

I don't understand what you mean by the word "selected" - do you mean when I have Danish stocks in my Market Analyzer?

Yes, please do not have them selected in the Market Analyzer when you connect to Kinetick to avoid the errors.

Glad I asked, because I haven't selected any Danish stocks in Market Analyzer when I connect to Kinetick, but still get the error - probably because it tries to fill in Previous Close and Volume (see attached screenshot). Or maybe there's an error in NT?

Do you mean "selected" or "present" in Market Analyzer. Because they are present, but not selected (i.e. clicked on with the mouse (as you can see in my latest screenshot, only selectection in Market Analyzer is QNET.X, which is a US symbol).

Sorry for the confusion, I should have used "present". Whenever a Danish stock is present in the Market Analyzer and you connect to Kinetick, it will try to load data.
