Sound Alert Change

Hello Ninja's

Can you please show me how to change the sound alert for the 'price alert' indicator. At the moment it alerts with the sound of a door bell. I would like to change the door bell sound alert.

Thank you for your post.

To change the sound file for the PriceAlert you would alter the NinjaScript code.

However, there is another indicator that is free to download from our support forum called LineAlert. This indicator will alert when the most recent bar crosses manually drawn lines. Works on lines, rays, horizontal lines, and extended lines.
You can change the sound file that is played for this alert by changing the 'SounfFile' parameter to the desired sound file.
Sound files are located in the installation folder (Program Files > NinjaTrader 7 > sounds).

Hi Patrick,

I've been playing around with the line alert you suggested and it doesn't really work very well. If you remember my initial request was to change the sound for the price alert. I'm happy with the price alert indicator. I thought I would have the same functionality with the line alert but be able to change the sounds. However, the line alert won't remain fixed in place. Essentially the mouse would have to remain on the chart to fix the line alert - which isn't realistic.

I'm sure I'm doing something silly as I'm sure the line alert isn't meant to work the way I've described.
