Why the software connects to Ninja servers?

You know the personal info is always something to care about.

I've installed Ninja today, it looks a great software, nevertheless reviewing the Log, I see that after connect to my broker account, the software connects immediately with ninja's servers, why is that?

I'm sorry for my question but I'm newbie and I care a lot my personal info and my possible work on ninja

Thank you for your post and I appreciated your concern.

If your broker does not offer historical data from the connection, NinjaTrader will connect to our servers to supplement this data.

NinjaTrader and Data Privacy:

• NinjaScript source code remains on the local PC and is not transmitted to NinjaTrader servers.
• License information is submitted to NinjaTrader servers for validation upon connecting.
• Account information is not submitted to NinjaTrader servers.
• Trade information will be submitted to NinjaTrader servers only if the Static SuperDOM is enabled and the user is paying NinjaTrader directly through TT transaction credits. This is required since both NinjaTrader and the end user need to track their trade history against the money that is paid for those transaction credits.
