    Hello bougie,

    Thank you for your post.

So I may assist you further, who are you connected to? This is displayed by green on lower left corner of the Control Center window.

I look forward to assisting you further.

Connected to CQG.. but that doesn't allow me to view stocks, as it is not in the pull down menu, so i have been connecting to external data feed.

        Hello bougie,

        Thank you for your response.

The external data feed will not have market data unless connected to a DLL interface supported connection such as Tradestation.
The external data feed connection targets those traders who have programming experience and wish to create a market data link between their charting or custom application and NinjaTrader which allows them to use the full functionality of NinjaTrader simulator.
For more information on the external data feed, please visit the following link: http://www.ninjatrader.com/support/h...connection.htm

However, you can connect to Kinetick - End of Day (Free) to receive daily data for Equities, Futures, Forex, and Indices.
If you plan to use the Kinetick - End of Day (Free) connection I can advise further on how to set up the AVO.TO instrument.

Please let me know if I may be of further assistance.

            Hello bougie,

            Thank you for your response.

To add the symbol mapping for Kinetick for the instrument AVO.TO please follow the instructions below:
            • From the NinjaTrader Control Center window select the menu Tools > Instrument Manager
            • Search for the AVO.TO instrument
            • Left click on the AVO.TO instrument to select it and then click 'Edit'
            • From the Misc tab of the Instrument Editor change the symbol mapping for Kinetick to "C.AVO"
            • Press the "OK" button

Please let me know if I may be of further assistance.

                Hello bougie,

                Thank you for your response.

What interval is your chart for AVO.TO?
With the Kinetick - End of Day (Free) connection you have access to daily data, which will allow you to bring up Day, Week, Monthly, and Yearly charts.

In addition, please attempt to reload all historical data on your chart. To reload your historical data please right click in the background of your chart and select 'Reload All Historical Data'.

Please let me know if I may be of further assistance.

                    Hello bougie,

                    Thank you for your response.

Kinetick - End of Day (Free) is for daily data, so you will not receive tick data when connected to Kinetick - End of Day (Free).
Please change your chart to a Day, Week, Month, or Year chart and advise if you are able to receive data for the AVO.TO instrument.

I look forward to assisting you further.

Changing it to day has fixed the problem. How do i get a tick chart? Or is this not possible? I would like to see more data for the intraday

                        Thank you for your response.

The Kinetick - End of Day (Free) connection support end of day daily data. If you would like to view intra day data, like tick data you would need to subscribe to Kinetick.
