    Data won't load

    I've been trying to run my NT for the last hour. All of the windows open up, but the charts don't fill up with candle sticks. In the top left corner of the window it says, "Loading data...". I started this at about 06:40. I restarted my computer after about 20 minutes and opened NT again, I still am at the same stage and unable to trade.

    Is this my NT or is this my Zen Fire data? By the way, I have the latest paid version of NT.

    Please offer any advice that could get me going.

    Can you tell me what instrument you are attempting to load within your chart and what is displayed in the lower right hand corner of the Control Center.

      I'm trying to load CL 12-11, and right now there is nothing displayed in the bottom right hand corner of my control panel, but keep in mind that NT seems to be hanging up, my hard drive is running very fast at the moment, so it could be that the Control panel is not done displaying everything it wants to.

      Also, nowI have one of my three charts displaying data. Alos, the DOM displays my account number, but no transactions.

        Please use the steps I have provided below to delete your historical data:
        • Disconnect
        • Tools
        • Historical Data Manager
        • Edit tab
        • Select CL-->Right mouse click-->Delete
        • Close NinjaTrader
        • Documents
        • NinjaTrader 7
        • Open the db folder
        • Open the cache folder
        • Select all files-->Right mouse click-->Delete
        • Open NinjaTrader
        • Connect
        • Open a new chart

        Please let me know if the issue persists after this procedure.

          so this means I'll lose my ability to back test any previous dates after this?

            We store one year worth of data for this instrument on our servers therefore the data can retrieved again after connecting. You may first only deleting the current contract data CL 12-11, then test to see if your chart then loads correctly.

            When this occurs this indicates that the data you currently have in your files may be corrupt which will cause NinjaTrader to show as Loading for a period of time with nothing populated within the chart.

              tried your suggestion, but no progress. I only deleted the 12-11 contract, although I haven't used older contracts for at least a few weeks. Do I need to delete older contracts, or what next?
