    NT:Slow opening and connecting

    Hi,
    I reinstall NT 7...with new ID too. Start of NT take 5 to 7 min., Windows Task Manager - Status: Not responding, for most of the time (CPU 50%). Same for connecting and shutting down. All indicator (except one) running on close bar. I have open two charts, in background are running next four on three instruments. Do you have some suggestions to speed up this 15 min. start up?

    Thanks for your post.

    Which interval of data are these charts loading? Around how many days of data are requested in the two charts?

      Hi,
      sorry for delay. Here they are:
      6E-97 Tick, CL-4 Range(3x),TF-4 Range(2x),TF-73 Tick. All only for 7 days (24/7).

        Hello,

        I would suggest rebuilding your workspace. Please keep track of what indicators you add back in so that we can narrow down what indicator is causing the issue if the issue returns. I also suggest making a backup of your workspace so we can restore a backup if the issue returns.


        To delete/move your workspaces:
        • Please close NinjaTrader and go to your desktop Start menu
        • Open My Documents
        • Go to the NinjaTrader 7 folder
        • Go to the Workspaces folder
        • Right click on all XML documents and select Delete or Move them to another location
        • Now restart the application and it should start up normally


        Please check how long it takes NinjaTrader to startup without any workspaces after completing the process above. If the response is normal, please proceed rebuilding your workspace.
        After you have deleted or moved these workspace files, you will need to recreate your workspace and test again for issue.

            Hi,

            Much better performance. I cleaned a"troubled" third party indicator and trim all workplaces.
