    Session data stops loading

    Hi,
    I opened my ES RTH charts but it only loads to mid day yesterday - I restarted computer, router, NT7 and also 'repair database' but the problem persists. Any ideas?

    What happens when you right click on the chart and select 'reload all historical data'? Does it attempt to load, or do you receive any errors on screen or from the Log tab of the Control Center?

    Do other symbols exhibit the same behavior?

    What happens if you switch to another session template and reload historical data?

      Hi Matthew,
      I tried 'Reload All Historical Data' but that fails to do anything at all. I tried with different templates that too does nothing to fix the missing data. However, when I apply ETH session template, all of overnight globex session data is loaded on the chart minus yesterday's midday to close data.

      The log tab shows nothing regarding the data issue. However, I did see 'saving' at the bottom right corner status. Tried with Dax and it loaded it up ok.

        Hello,

        Please delete your historical data for the ES using the instructions provided at the following page of the NinjaTrader Help Guide:
        Removing Historical Data

        • Once the data has been deleted close NinjaTrader. Open the Documents\NinjaTrader7\db\cache folder. Select all files then right mouse click and select “delete.”
        • Open NinjaTrader and connect to your data provider. Open an new chart.

        Please let me know if this resolves your issue.

          Ok I carried out the steps above then successfully opened a blank ES chart. Then when I tried to open my own templates or workspace, the problem now seems to be 'Loading data' and that is all there is!
          So went ahead to delete as above, created new templates, workspaces, then stalls at 'Loading data'. Seems like a recurring issue

            Please send an email to support[at]ninjatrader[dot]com and include your most recent log and trace files, Attn: Matthew in the Subject line and a reference to this thread.

            You will find the log file in the Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Log folder.
            • The log file will be named ‘log.20111130.txt’

            You will find the trace file in the Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Trace folder.
            • The trace file will be named ‘trace.20111130.txt’

            Please attach both of these files to your next response. If these files are over 4MB, please let me know and I can respond with alternative instructions.
