    Thank you for your response.

Please go to Tools > Instrument Manager > type "IN" in the name field > click Search.
You should see the S&P CNX Nifty Index in the search results.
Please follow the instructions below if you want to add this instrument to an instrument list:
    • Select the instrument list you wish to add the instrument to via the "Instrument lists" drop down list in the upper left hand corner
    • Select the exchange (Default recommend for equities) as this will route orders to your broker smart routing system
    • Select the appropriate expiration date if this is a futures instrument
    • Press the "<" button to add the instrument to the list

You are now complete and can press the "OK" button.

Please let me know if I may be of further assistance.

I am not able to find and add NEKKEI and S&P CNX Nifty (SGX) in Ninjatrader, I am getting live data from CQG (AMP). Can someone help me

      Hello santoshv2k,

Thank you for your post and welcome to the NinjaTrader Support Forum.

What expiry is selected for the NEKKEI and S&P CNX Nifty (SGX)?

Do you receive an error on screen? Are there errors on the Log tab of the Control Center? If so, what do these errors report?

I look forward to your response.

Thank you so much for reply. I get an error like 'specified symbol is not supported by NT server'. May be I am not able to add it correctly because I could not find it in Search option of Instrument manager. May I have instrument list of SGX which could be imported in NT7 .

          Hello*santoshv2k,

Please go to Tools > Instrument Manager, search for the instrument, select it and click Edit.

Then in the Instrument Editor window go to the Misc tab, scroll down to Contract months, select Contract months and click the ... button.

Then in the Contract Months window create a listing for the contract month you are trying to view and press OK > OK > OK.

          Then try opening a chart.*

I got NT7 connected to CQG and went to to Tools > Instrument Manager, searched CNX, I am getting CNX (CONSOL Energy Inc.) which is a stock of NYSE. Can you please tell me how to add mannualy, because when I added manually it says, that symbol is not supported by NT Server. What's symbols for NEKKEI and S&P CNX Nifty (SGX) on Ninja server.

                Thanks

                  Hello santoshv2k

CQG only supports futures and indexes.

You should only have futures and indexes listed in the Instrument Manger window.

Please send me your log and trace files for today so that I may look into what occurred.

You can do this by going to the Control Center-> Help-> Mail to Platform Support.

Please reference the following ticket number in the body of the email:*ATTN: Chris S*http://www.ninjatrader.com/support/f...ad.php?t=46094

Thanks to NinjaTrader Team for quick support. I got a clean install and followed the steps suggested by NT Team and now now the symbols came in NT7 and getting historical data also but still unable to get live data.
