Daily bar of today not showing

    When I test a GC 02-12 daily chart while connected to IQFeed, I display the current daily bar. My PC clock is set to US Mountain time and I using the default session template (Nymex Metals/Energy ETH).

    Do you not display the current daily bar in your GC 02-12 chart as well?

      Just to make it the same as you I have set my PC clock to US mountain time. I also changed the time at the session manager to mountain time. The template at the session manager is default 24/7. And I have changed the GC session template back to Nynex metals/energy ETH.

      Please see attached, I still miss the last small green/blue bar.

        Can you please try the following. Disconnect your data feed and go to Control Center-->Tools-->Historical Data Manager-->Edit-tab. Delete all historical daily data you have for the GC instrument.

        Close NinjaTrader and go to (My) Documents-->NinjaTrader 7-->db-->cache and delete its entire content.

        Start NinjaTrader, create a new GC 02-12 chart and check if the current daily bar is displayed.
        If not, could it be your PC clock is not set to the proper date? Please check the 'End date' in the Data Series menu of the chart as well.

          Data deleted. Cache files deleted (500k files)

          Computer reboot. new chart opened and of course not showing the last bar.

          PC clock is December 13th and the 'End date' is also December 13th

          Pfff...

            Hello,

            Taking a step back here, you reported you only have this issue with Comex and Nymex products. Do you see this with any other Globex products like the ES, NQ or YM?

            With Kinetick or IQFeed, do you have a real-time subscription to all of these exchanges? Or do you receive delayed data for Comex or Nymex?

              Hi Matthew,

              The ES, NQ and YM are working fine. Yesterday I had troubles with NG and that one is working fine too now (after a restart of NT)

              Right now I am having troubles with HG SI GC.

              There was a similar thread today of a guy who could also not see daily bar of the XAUUSD with Kinetick. I tried this with IQFeed and I couldn't see the daily bar too.

              In all cases the minute bars work fine.

              At the moment I am using delayed data.

                Hello,

                Sorry I need clarification on this point: Are all symbols delayed? Or only for some exchanges?

                The delayed subscription will behave differently. For example XAUUSD requires a Premium forex subscription with IQFeed otherwise data is delayed. I would expect this behavior on XAUUSD if you did not have the Premium forex.

                Also did you reset your instruments to get the default mappings? Or did you just do a restart of NinjaTrader?

                  All symbols are delayed. However, with a delayed subscription I should still be able to see a delayed daily bar (in progress) of today, right?

                  Most work fine, its just HG SI GC and like I said NG (also Nymex, also delayed) works fine now.

                  I did only restart Ninjatrader. Should I reset my instruments settings too?

                    Hello,

                    Yes, I would suggest resetting your instrument now that you are on NT V7.0.1000.8 to ensure you have the same symbol settings as Jason displayed earlier in his chart.

                      I have reset the instruments settings (options, data, reset instruments) and have restarted NT. Didn't change anything.

                      I am using version NT V7.0.1000.8.

                      What about I uninstall and reinstall it all?

                        I see no evidence that indicates you need to reinstall.
