Can you please confirm the version of TWS you are using? You can check this in TWS under Help--> About. The supported version is TWS build 917.8

What version of NinjaTrader are you on? You can check this from the NinjaTrader Control Center under Help--> About. The current version is NinjaTrader V7.0.1000.8.

I have updated both Ninjatrader and TWS and it seems to be fixed.

Sorry to bump such an old thread, but I have the same issue today, and the proposed solution doesn't work.

All ok up to yesterday with NinjaTrader 7.1000.10 (previous version), and IB 927, but this morning charts won't load and I get the "HMDS data farm connection broken" error.

Also tried updating Ninja to 7.1000.11 with no luck.

The strange thing is that in Ninja Control Center, orders tab, prices flow regularly.

Well, nevermind. Uninstalled 7.1000.11 and installed again, rebooted my PC, all working again now.

I am having the same problem here.
Since this week I upgraded NT7 from 64-bit version 10 to 11 with the corresponding TWS version. Now I also have sometimes HMDS data farm connection broken" error.
And this morning also the error:
"Error on loading chart data for 'FTI 06-10 Fta': IBconnect: Error in requesting historical data from IB: No security definition has been found for the request(200)"
When I look in the Instrument manager I have all the definitions up to 2005 !
And this morning the first bar on the FTI 1 min chart is 9.15. In a TWS chart I see all bars starting at 8.01.
What is the problem??

Edit: In the mean time I have data again from this morning 8.00 AM.
But the problem of the security definition remains.... I'm going to make a new tread of this.
