    Ninja crashed when I tried to enter the password

    Hello !
    Today I had to reinstall my OS and accordingly to this the Ninja trader too. First was working, after I tried to enter my user name and password in the connection settings the ninja gave me this massage on the picture I attached. What I have to do so I can run Ninja again ?

    In order for me to determine why this is occurring, I will need to review your most current log and trace files.

    You can do this by going to the Control Center-> Help-> Mail to Support.


    Please use 'Attn: Matthew' in the subject line and a refernece to this thread.

      I can't even start it since then.
      First I decided to repair the windows and ninja was working fine, no problems at all. But then I decided to make full reinstall with format the disc. After that I install the ninja, go to account connections, create the new one and when I closed the several mini-windows with announcement after that the Ninja crashed and gave me this.
      Reinstall Ninja again, but no change. The problem is the same.
      Should I reinstall Windows and maybe to go with newer version of it ? I am using XP SP2 for 5 years maybe and I never had such problems.

        I would not quite suggest reformatting.

        Can you please manually send your log and trace files as an attachment.

        Please send an email to support[at]ninjatrader[dot]com and include your most recent log and trace files, Attn: Matthew in the Subject line and a reference to this thread.

        You will find the log file in the Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Log folder.
        • The log file will be named ‘log.20111222.txt’

        You will find the trace file in the Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Trace folder.
        • The trace file will be named ‘trace.20111222.txt’

        Please attach both of these files to your next response. If these files are over 4MB, please let me know and I can respond with alternative instructions.

          Ok, I did it. Both files are sent.

            Thank you very much. I installed the NET framework 3.5 SP1 and Ninja is working again.
