Is there a way to see the Daily Net Change on the Chart?

    Hello all,

Is there a way to see the Daily Net Change for the day on the chart?
    Perhaps a custom indicator?

    Thank you.

    Hello brojas47,

    Thank you for your note.

There is a free custom indicator that allows you to view the Net Change on the chart.

To import indicators you will need the original .zip file.

Here is a basic guideline of how to Import indicators.

    To Import
    1. Download the indicator to your desktop, keep them in the compressed .zip file.
    2. From the Control Center window select the menu File > Utilities > Import NinjaScript
    3. Select the downloaded .zip file
    4. NinjaTrader will then confirm if the import has been successful.

Critical - Specifically for these indicators, it will prompt that you are running newer versions of @SMA, @EMA, etc. and ask if you want to replace, press 'No'

      Hi Cameron,
Thanks for the quick response. When I go to import it, it tells me that I have a newer version of PriorDayOHLC (which I do have that indicator in use).

      What should I do?

        brojas47,

Press "No" on all pop-ups asking if you would like to replace an indicator.

          Thanks

I wish it could display to the left when I tell it to in the settings, but something is better than nothing.

              mcorbett,

Can you please provide the full error message you receive? A screen shot would help too.

To send a screenshot press Alt + PRINT SCREEN to take a screen shot of the selected window. Then go to Start--> Accessories--> Paint, and press CTRL + V to paste the image. Lastly, save as a jpeg file and send the file as an attachment.

                  mcorbett,

Please try redownloading and importing the indicator once again.

Remember that you need the original .zip file to import.

I get the same exact "error" message that I attatched in this thread.

I simply click on the "zip" you provided, save it as a zip file in my dowcuments and follow your instructions to load into NT- then I get error.

Yet another case of coming a cropper because an enum variable was defined in the global namespace, and you do not have that enum defined in any namespace on your installation.

The indicator is based on the value of an enum variable called NetChangeOption.

Look at all the options that are being used, and define the enum in a place where it will be available to the indicator.
