    Problem with CQG

    I just did a full removal and install of the new NT7.
    I have a CQG AMP demo.
    My PC clock is in Chicago time.
    The session is set at 24/7.
    Why does my session reset at 23:00?
    And why is there after the 3:15 close a tick bar at 9:40?
    This causes an indicator using the hi/low from the previous day to not function.

    Thank you for your post.

    So I may investigate further what time zone are you in? As your PC is set to Chicago time are you located in the CST time zone?

    The 9:40 AM bar is possibly a test bar after hours, you can try using an ETH session template for your chart (right click in your chart > select Data Series > change the Session Template to 'CME US Index Futures ETH').
    However, if changing the session template does not resolve the bar you will need to remove the data from the Historical Data Manager manually.

      Hi I deleted that tick, it keeps putting it back.
      It must be loading it from server.
      And also yes, PC is CST, and the charts using CQG are making it 1 hour behind.
      Shouldn't it print from my PC clock like ZenFire?
      Or is it loading time stamp from server?

        Thank you for your response.

        The timestamps for both Zen-Fire and CQG are Native, but this looks like it is reflecting the time zone you are in. The session template may be set to Eastern Time (UTC-5:00) therefore you are seeing the session change at 23:00 your time.

          Ok problem solved with the time sorry I forgot I re installed NT from scratch and didn't set the time zone for the 24/7 to CST.
          And the tick being put back yes I will have to send you a note because it really shouldn't be there and it keeps putting it back even after deleting and confirming its gone and restarting NT.
          When load Historical data again it puts it back from server.
