Tick data question

My broker is InteractiveBroker. The tick data is not tick-by-tick. I would like to try my indicators on tick-by-tick data for studying purpose after the market hours, not for trading. Then I can determine if I should subscribe tick-by-tick data from another provider.

Is there free tick-by-tick historical data I can use? I found the following site which claims to have 5 days free data for download. They are in zip format. Is it safe to download? How to use with NT and where to save the data without affecting my other IB data.

No NinjaTrader partner currently offers intraday data free of charge. That said, I may be able to help you to find a data trial that you could work with for a period of time. What types of instruments are you interested in? (futures, forex, equities)

I am interested to test YM with historical tick-by-tick data. If possible, include ES and NQ.
