Weekly and Monthly Highs and Lows

    Hello,

I have been looking for a way to plot weekly and monthly highs and lows on a chart just like how we can plot priod daily highs and lows.

Thank you so much for all your help.

    Csk.

    Hi cskrishna,

    Thanks for your post.

This is possible, but custom programming would be required as there isn't currently an indicator which serves this purpose. If you are not a programmer, any of the NinjaScript consultants listed at the following link could code this type of project for you: http://www.ninjatrader.com/partners....pt-Consultants

Thank you so much Kyle for a quick reply. I do programming but not C#. Can you please direct me to a guide or resources of how to develop these extensions?
Thank you once again for your help.

Csk, to get started in our C# based NinjaScript we would recommend taking a look at those tutorials here - http://www.ninjatrader.com/support/h.../tutorials.htm

One possible way to get the info you needed would be created a MultiSeries indicator that would add the weekly and monthly data so you could track it's highs / lows made. Below you will find the general framework used in this area :

Here are 6 indicators which display

          - current daily, weekly and monthly highs and lows
          - prior daily, weekly and monthly highs and lows

All highs can be either calculated from daily data, or from intraday data either from the ETH or the RTH session. It is recommended to use appropriate session templates.

          Link to the indicators:
