30 minute chart incorrectly loading

Thanks, well, it is that I am able to build a strategy but it does not load in the chart. The chart remains empty without the predefined arrows. I built the simplest strategy just as a test, like if open is above close, draw arrow up and vice versa. Nothing draws. And I heard that free NT does not provide the option to use strategies.

Hello,

If you can apply the strategy to the chart then you have the correct license to use NinjaScript.

If it is applied to the chart but not working as you suspect then this is a logic issue that needs to be debugged.

When you say the chart is blank is there market data bars or just the arrow is not displaying is all you mean or is the chart completely blank.


Is there an error in the log tab of the control center?

OK, so what is the correct license to use NinjaScript for strategies?

Just BTW - chart is loaded, the arrows wont show, no error in the log.

Are you sure that you have enabled the strategy when you right click -> Strategies -> Enabled = True for the strategy?

Sounds good in that case you have a strategy logic issue so it seems you dont have something coded just right.

Are you generated a new tag ID for each new drawing objects so it draws more then one object?

Also can you make sure you go through these steps first as much as you can.

Finally is you still cannot locate the error please post the indicator/strategy on the forums as an attachment I will take a quick look at it.

Thanks, just a quick note. The strategy was a "test" as I could not make any strategy working. So it was really primitive (like draw an up arrow if close is above open). I made a few simple strategies in 6.5 version without any problems so if there is anything that changed in the NinjaScript or the strategy making wizard, I might have missed it and it causes my issue. But if there are no changes I doubt there is any logic error with such a primitive strategy. But I might be mistaken.
Anyway, thanks for now. I will go through the article from your link and will see.
