?'s about using the Close Button to exit an ATM strategy

I'm working with ATM strategies and observing the LOG entries to see what the behavior of the Orders, Executions and Position updates are as depicted in the attachment.

I was in a short position and pressed the Close button. There was one remaining Stop2 order and one Target2 order. The Stop2 was cancelled and the Target2 was filled per what I noticed in the log.

The first question is why is the Stop cancelled and the Target filled? Wouldn't they both be cancelled? Price was not near the Target to get filled.

The next question is: Why are there no orders to Exit the strategy? What I see is an Execution with an "Operation= Insert". Is this the operation that closes a ATM strategy? Why is there no order to Exit the Strategy?

The position was closed properly but I'm trying to understand what goes on under the hood.

Hello Taddypole,

It is as expected that the stop loss cancels and the profit target is modified to a price so it will close your position. Please see the link below for more information regading the Close button.

There is no additional order to exit your position since the profit target closes your position.
