Currency shown on strategy analyzer Summary

Hello,
In the summary tab in the strategy analyzer there is a $ sign next to the values. This is even if the currency that the instrument is working with another one (Euro for example).
In that case are the values shown (total net profit, gross profit, etc) are in USD or the instrument currency?

Hello Oren,

NinjaTrader displays the currency that is setup in your Windows OS. It will display that currency for all instruments you trade in NinjaTrader. The Summary-tab will display values using the instrument currency (eventhough it reflects $).

I'm currently running a portfolio consisting of Instruments of the UsDollar and EURO currencies.
I would like to see the Account Performance in the terms of USD alone (including the currencies on the Euro), how do I do that?

Hello Oren,

Forex trades will be converted automatically to US dollar as per the values listed in the Rate column of the Control Center-->Executions-tab. You will need to receive real-time data for the forex instruments related for the Rate column to be updated.

For example, to have EURCAD trades calculate PnL in US Dollar, you will need to receive real-time data for the EURCAD, EURUSD and USDCAD in NinjaTrader before the execution occurs.

I got the same issue , my IB account is in Euro but in the summary of the perfformance account , it is in dollars

How I can check the currency setup in WIN 7 ?

Thanks for the note.

Unfortunately NinjaTrader is hard coded to display this values is US dollar. We do not have currency localization built into account performance at this time. This is something that is on developments list to consider as we grow.
