    Issue with TDA

    Had the issue with TDA and obtaining historical data been resolved? I am still getting messages every time I load a stock. Is there a deadline for this issue to be resolved? Thank you.

    Thanks for your post.

    So that I may further assist you please answer the following.

    What version of NinjaTrader are you using? You can check under Help -> About

    Is there an error message listed in the Log tab of the Control Center?

    Please provide a screen shot of the error box.

    To post a screenshot, click CTRL + PRINT SCREEN. Then, open up Paint from Start > Accessories > Paint. Paste into the Paint program by clicking CTRL + V. Lastly, save as a jpeg. In your reply select Manage Attachments to attach.

      No, there is not.

      TDA's DLL is being phased out, and that's what Ninja Trader uses.

      There needs to be a new interface built. Maybe in Ninja Trader 8, but that's pretty far away.

        I am using NT 7.0.1000.8.

        Here is the screenshot from my log. This happens with every single stock I load.

        Sledge, when you say "DLL" what do you mean? Thank you.

          TDA has a dll that NT uses. NT can't modify it.

          There is apparently nothing that can be done.

          I honestly don't know why NT can't suppress that error output,
          And just load from recorded history

            The errors that you have reported have been identified as a issue that we are currently looking into with TDAmeritrade.

            This happens randomly and can happen on any symbol.

            Unfortunately the cause of these errors have not yet been found and our Development Team is looking into this error.

            I apologize for any inconvenience, you may also want to try restarting NinjaTrader and reconnecting, though this may not resolve the issue.
