    ninja trader dos not start

    i start ninja trader all charts start to load up after that i get the message
    " ninja trader has stop working"

      Same Problem with NT 7.0.1000.8

          There is no directory 'NinjaTrader 7' in 'My Documents'. And I did not found any trace file/directory at all on the disk.

            Please follow the steps listed below to uninstall and reinstall NinjaTrader:


            1.Close all running applications.
            2.Then from the Start menu select --> Control Panel --> Add and Remove Programs.
            3.From Add and Remove Programs select NinjaTrader 7 and click Remove.
            4.Then you will need to clear your internet browser cache and history. You will clear this from within your internet browser (with IE, Tools-->Options, delete cookies and files, clear history).
            5.Reboot your machine.
            6.Once these steps are completed, download NT7 from the link below:

            Download

            Please let us know if you are able to get up and running after the reinstall.

                I have 1 possible hint : this is the 32 bits only version.
                In my previous installation, I had 2 executables : the 32 bits and the 64 bits.
                Is this correct ?

                  The problem occurs again. Meanwhile, I have just installed a backup software, then reboot, launched NT7 to see NT crashing at startup. Here is the (very similar) error message :

                      Hello,

                      Just to close the issue. This was due a subtle problem for accessing "My Documents" folder. The folder was sometimes inaccessible from NT. I think that the full path was changing (from the NT point of view) and then became unreachable from NT. This may be due to the way NT access this folder - the CLR20r3 event is often associated to the "path". This also explains why there was no "NinjaTrader7" folder in "My Documents" after the 1st launch of NT (and so no log, no trace !)

                      Regarding the disappearing of the 64 bits icon (and then bin64 folder), a simple Repair was enough.

                        I m having same problem, i cant open ninjatrader without deleting the workspaces everyday. When i try to repair it, it says the files not accessible. Can u please help me how u changed the path to the My Documents to make it accessible for the application, Thanks!!

                          Hello,

                          Thanks for the forum post.

                          Are you using any back up software or automated anti virus on this PC?

                          If so add the My Documents->NinjaTrader 7 to the excluded files directory for both programs.

                          Restart NT and let me know if problem persists.

                            I got no antivirus on my computer, i got windows vista sp2 32-bit..here is the error report

                              Thanks for that.

                              If you go to the My Documents->NinjaTrader 7 folder and right click on it properties.

                              Is the ReadOnly access disabled or is it enabled? If enabled then please disable it.
