6E problems - NT crashes

hello,

since a few days i have problems with the 6E. Not every indicator is running and i get an NT crash when i try to change from a five to sixty minute chart.

does anyone have the same problem or does someone have an idear what to do?

Please provide me with your most current log and trace files.

You will find the log file in the Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Log folder.

The log file will be named "log.YYYYMMDD.txt"
You will find the trace file in the Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Trace folder.

The trace file will be named "trace.YYYYMMDD.txt"

The YYYY is the year, the MM is the month, and the DD is the date.

i got an email from joydeep. he told me to change to 64bit system. so, this is no problem. i have the tws and nt on my laptop 64bit as well.

can you give me a hand how to export an instrument list / workspace?

Thanks for your note.

You can go to File > Utilities > Backup. From here, you can back up your platform. Then, you can find this file in My Documents / NinjaTrader Backup. Transfer this file to another PC, then you can do a File > Restore.

hi,

i switched NT to my 64bit laptop system and had also a few problems.
but i think this depends on the TWS.

when tws sends no quotes (eurofarm down) nt gets real problems. i cant do anything. i must shut down. in 6.5 it was not so dramatic i think. 6.5 relogged in by itselfe.

is this a known problem?

What happens with NinjaTrader when the connection with TWS is lost?

What version of TWS are you using? You can check by going to TWS > Help > About Trader Workstation and scrolling down to build.

Its 922.6

NT is freezing then. In english - the software is unable to react.

I dont know if this happens only when TWS has no qoutes. So will watsch this
and tell you more when it happens again. Then I will send you a log file.
