Downloading hitorical tick data from IB

can I download historical tick data for 2 day from IB?

Thank you for your note.

Unfortunately IB does not provide historical tick data within NinjaTrader at this time. In order to receive historical tick data you would be required to connect to a provider that offers this data.

If you are looking for an additional data provider for historical data I recommend using Kinetick: (Our Preferred Data Feed Service Built Specifically for NinjaTrader 7) which provides historical Tick, Minute and Daily data for Equities, Futures and Forex.

can you please tell me why the historical tick data by NT doesn`t run.
Because by multichart with IB it works.

Hello Mike,

The API which NinjaTrader uses to connect to IB does not support the loading of historical tick-aggregate data as provided by IB. Unfortunately, there is no work-around for this limitation currently. That said, a secondary data provider could be used to backfill your charts with tick data.
